We build against the Clio Manage API using OAuth with least-privilege scopes, and the design assumption throughout is that a lawyer reviews anything client-facing. Documents are drafted from your own precedents, not generated from scratch, and they arrive as drafts for review rather than as anything final. Client confidentiality is the constraint we design around first: work happens under an NDA and DPA, access is scoped to what the automation genuinely needs, and your client data is never used to train outside models. Most first builds go live in two to four weeks, with full source code and documentation at handover.
